Back in 92 when I just came to Seattle..fresh off the Banana Boat (LOL)..I sound like my Dad now (smile)..practically every house party, BBQ and picnic I went to..and I went to many..someone always seem to turn up with a "Better than sex Cake"..and yes..it would be always good..BUT...not sure who those people were having sex with..but they needed to Stop..Pronto!..because if that cake tasted better to them..than having sex..they were being cheated.
Today..I felt a bit "peckish" and was walking back from some quality moments spent on Alki Beach and saw a Tully's Coffee shop and thought...why no?..got an iced tea and noticed they had banana cake..personally I prefer banana nut cake..but anything with banana in it is fine by me...I actually paid for it before I found out it was actually Banana Chocolate Cake...and I wanted to savor it later so I placed it on the dash and drove off..forgetting it was probably too warm a day to put anything with chocolate in it..anywhere that the sun could man handle it (LOL)..but an hour later when sat on a park bench and opened the bag and took a bite..Oh Ma'ma..it turned me and my tastes buds on..and past days of having the better than sex cake popped into my head...because this Banana Chocolate Cake..was better than the "Better than sex cake"..Hell..this was an orgy..if every I was in one (LOL)..it was so good I tore the bag all the way open and buried my face in it so that I could lick up every crumb and chocolate smear their was..if I was not out in public..I would probably have eaten the darn paper too..it was that good..I need to bake me one of those!
