These things only happen when you ingore a burning instinct, that says...'Take your bloody camera with you!'
I just went for my walk, which I took on the fly, because the weathr report said...'Rain in the afternoon...'
And the sun was out...brilliantly so!...but this is the NW...the weather turn on a dime..Right!?...LOL!
Forsaking all...I dashed through the door (to my own detrament...no rain/weather gear!).
At midpoint on the walk...two people (both females) chattering away (because I heard them from a country mile or so in back of me...LOL!') slipped by me.....and probably was oblivious to my presence...so skin deep were they in a conversation.
I looked at them in their wake...and almost bust out in an uproaring laugh!
This!.....was definately the long and short of a situation!...and I felt for my camers which was not there...Damn!!!!
The person on the left was very tall...about 6ft. 3" or an inch more, and as thin as a reed!...so thin in fact...she looked angular...and not in exactly a good way...she leaned...or curved from the knees on up.... to the left.
The other, was maybe.... at best, a hair whisker past 5 ft....and chubby.
Is a picture dawning yet?...Ha-ha-ha!
What was really funny though...is that the tall woman was most all legs.
And her friend was sort of average in proportion (tight and compact).
So she was jogging slightly...and really showing good form too....well at ease.
The tall on was taking..... what for her was a slightly quick step...but not one to even make her ever bust a sweat at all.
So for about 30 seconds as one walked and the other jogged, they were almost side by side...then the one jogging would get about a stride and a half ahead of the other...and she would do a sort of a hop/jump/jogging step/motion to get even (not a pretty picture is it...ha-ha-ha!...but it was really funny looking).
But what ever they were talking about...was at an interesting, and personal stage...Because they sort on unanamously lean into each others path to let off .....or listen to the juicy details.
The short one was looking up and into the face of the tall one...drinking down every word, as she kept that jogging stride, and the tall one, was almost gliding/jogging on tippy toes...bouncing on the balls of her feet (almost like in the cartoons) in an short run, so as not to stride by her friend...and with an hand on her shoulder for emphasis...it was like a mother and her young kid out to graze...Ha-ha-h!
I was so cracking up looking at the whole scene...a lady who was coming towards me from the opposite direction (cuddling her dog in her arms, and was not paying attention to them), also followed my line of vision to look at what had brought the laughter to my face...and bust out laughing...and had to cover her mouth inatantly.
The two ahead both turned in unison then to look at us...and I immediately got as serious as a judge and looked out to the freeway at the cars passing by.
No!...with a 'it wasn't me' kind of expression about me.
Two minutes later...the rain came down!
